Riki's response it to punch Legion's nose in. "Archdemons think they are so wonderful."

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Ayn wanders in the cafe, and much to her amusement sees this power struggle.

"Ah, yes. The battle of pride.. A struggle to prove who's stronger.." She has a seat at the bar. "You know, engaging in these battles only proves how weak you really are."

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion takes the blow and chortles. "That's because we are!" Legion turns to Ayn and smiles. "I suppose crying yourself to sleep is far more meaningful, no?"

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Rikali uses Legion's distraction to her advantage. Flicking her wrist, a small dagger appears from a sheath around her elbow. She slugs Legion across the face again, this time using the blading to gorge into his cheeck. "Nothing wrong with a little excersise, Ayn."

*sigh* is this ALL that ever happens here? *assimilates a bagel* well...still good entertainment. *records it*

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"I would imagine so." She busies herself by making a cup of hot chocolate.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion snarls and sends a blast of hellfire at Riki's face, followed by a flurry of knives.

Ayn 04-02-2004 06:30 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Ayn spins around in her chair to face the brawl, her hot chocolate now ready. She sips it, then smirks at the two. "You're like an old married couple."

Gale 04-02-2004 06:44 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion moves as a blur infront of Ayn, and cups her chin in his hand. "Now now, no need to get jealous. You're still my favorite, goldielocks." Legion grins and then snickers.

Ayn 04-02-2004 06:48 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Is that so?" She pushes his hand away. "How unfortunate for you if Rand finds out.. In fact, he probably already knows you've been harassing creatures stronger than you."

Gale 04-02-2004 06:53 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Stronger than me? Hah, that's funny. You're lucky Rand has made it clear that I can't physically harm you. Otherwise, I'd prove this not to be true."

Ayn 04-02-2004 06:56 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"So you admit that Rand is stronger than you." Soaks in the irony of Legion's words for a few minutes, then turns away, sipping her hot chocolate.

Gale 04-02-2004 06:58 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Yes, I do. But you are nothing but a child. Don't forget that."

Ayn 04-02-2004 07:00 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"A child you're afraid of. You wouldn't be working for Rand if you weren't afraid.."

Gale 04-02-2004 07:02 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"You assume to much. Fearing you, and fearing what you might become, are two diffrent things. I'm here to make sure our fear is not realized."

Ayn 04-02-2004 07:15 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"So you'd rather take orders than annhilate your fears yourself?"

Gale 04-02-2004 07:18 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"I'm not suppose to kill you, sweetie."

Ayn 04-02-2004 07:22 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Of course, because Rand ordered you not to." She leans back. "What difference does it make, I'll be dead in a couple of decades anyway."

Gale 04-02-2004 07:25 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Oh there's more to this than Rand, lovely."

Ayn 04-02-2004 07:27 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Is that so? Do share." She absent-mindedly pours the rest of the hot chocolate into a sink behind her.

Gale 04-02-2004 07:43 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion laughs. "As much as I'd love to negotiate, I'm afraid that's something you need to figure that out on your own."

Ayn 04-02-2004 10:26 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Suit yourself." She stands and waves a hand dismissively. "Aren't you supposed to be fighting, or something?"

Gale 04-02-2004 10:35 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Shouldn't you be preventing the apocolypse?" Legion stretches. "I have to make a deliverly. I'll be back." Legion casually exits through the front door.

ReyKas 04-03-2004 03:25 AM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

*Wessen enters just as Legion is exiting, bumping into him in the doorway.*

*Wessen smirks and points back behind him with his thumb.*

He looooves you. He wants to play with your pigtails.

..don't pay me any mind.

*Sits at the bar and orders his usual double of whiskey.*

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Rikali, barely having dodged Legion's last attack, scowls and sits down in a chair across from Ayn. Reaching into her pocket, she pulls out a roll of bandages and starts to repair herself.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

TZM walks through the door, a week smile on his face, his skin now a tanned color that it had never been before, going to hell ahs it's downsides after all. He wore no armor like usual, but mere casual clothes, something comfortable, somethign that didn't burn his skin as he wore it.Sitting down at a table, he looks out at the veiw of the sea before him, seeing the seagulls flying oevr head, doing their scavenging for the day. the sun shone down upon him at the window, it being early morning and the window pointing towards the sun's rays of light. It was a clear day, not a cloud in site, just the rays of the sun emminating downwards present in the blue sky above the cafe. The sights were beautiful, yes, but he ahd long lost the liking of beautiful thigns such as this. His apreciation for the world around him had seeased awhile ago, before coming to this land... when she died...
He looks downwards towards the crystal upon the neclace around his neck. It had stopped glowing several days ago, and he was sad to see this happen, it meant she was no longer with him. Something was wrong... maybe his year's tiem in hell changed him so that she might not want her presence to be held by him, who knows. this small crystal had beena reminder of their love, when they both were close to each other, it would glow, their hearts then being as one, but now it no longer shone, and he fealt increasingly alone. Hopefully her soul would eb back to confort him sometime he wished, hoefuly he can be who he should be, but not now, now is a tiem for relaxation. Now is a time to attempt to apreciate thigns, try and look at things different. the world seamed brigther now, seamed... ebtter than it was before the toture. Somethign had happened to him in their, in hell's rage, but he didn't know what. He had been rapped in the chain's of hatred, their evil ever seaping into him, it took his full will to keap himself from losing his will to survive, becouse if he lost hope, his imortality would sees, an he would die instantly. For one logn year he was their, being tortured- no tested, to an infinity's extent. the pain itself never elft him, even now, out of it, his flesh and kin seared when touced by anything, but this was minor compaired to the ruthless pain of the Chains around him, and the blazeing inferno that he was inclosed within. Finally, after ayear of strugle, he ahd gathered enough energy to escape such a prison, finding within hima power he ahd never found bfore, it seamed, that this etst alowed him to find a power within he ahd not knon of, helping him get toa new platue of power. he would have to thank din for that, if he didn't kill her the enxt time he saw her.
The sky's light shown onto the sea, the sail boats goign this way and that, the hussle and bustle of the sea going folk being at it's peak it semaed today, their was no quitness to be found here.

It's hard... i know...

the familiar voice of the goddes farore, chimed in, a grean glow forming as if from no where into the shape of a small girl, looking rougly about the age of 12, her grean hair and clothes almost the same tent and brightness. her clothes were not of regl staure in any right, not evena dress, just mere casual clothes any other would ware. She had about her a sence of inocence, but this image was only a fasuad. She only apeared in this shape, becouse that was the one she had been when he had first met her, it was her way of tryign to at least keap something reasonably the same for him, thigns changing so much for him in the recent times. She looked out towards the window like he did, resting her chin on her open palm.

The dificulty of the matter has little to do with it, i have gotten used to hardships and loss in my day. I dout their is much that can change that for me...

Farore's eyes turned from the window, looking back up towards the man sitting before her,a slight smile on her face. he looed like eh had seen much pain, looking as if he had wished to cry at one point, but no teers could be let from his face any longer, so now he sat, emotionless, looking out toward the world around him, imprisoned in the hardships of his own mind. She coudl change that, she kenw she could, it was only a matter of knowing what, or who it is that could make him the person he once was. She looked down towards the crystal around his neck, the smile still present. poor man... she had lied to him, he had been told by her, herself, that his love had died, so that he might not try and look for her. No... she had gone to another place, another realm, her sister Nayru bringing her their. they needed to eb seperated for a time, just so that they could see life ina way different persepctive, in hopes that they would ba able to make the most of things. She knew Nayru, she told her the exact same thing, that he had died. She saw her pain... and his, and so she added something speacial to the crystals around their necks, a link between the two so that they might find some confort and courage in this world they were now in. They had both found their conforts knowing that the other's "spirit" was with them, helping them in battle and giving moral support to them when they needed it most. It was good to see them both happy... but it didn't last. it wsn't enough any more, and the crystals didn't glow any more. Something was wrong... her powers were leaving ehr and gowing to him faster and faster now, she would soon be just another noraml mortal, and he be the one of courage. it was his destiny to do so... if only he had that courage and inner strength to keap going. She ahd lost ehr own strength as well, her want to go on leaving. she was loosing faith and so was he, farore and Nayru had to change this...somehow...

Maybe I can help you.

TZM didn't turn towards farore's voice, bu t merely kept his gaze out upon the sea and the hustle and bustle of the day before him.

I dout you could do anything as of now.

Farore smiled at this, she woudl do soemthing, it would be the best for both of them... she knew it...

"You best be wary of him. He's more dangerous then you think." Alinos leans in the doorway, nodding at Ayn.

"Alinos. It's been a while.." She stands and pulls the band out of her hair, letting it fall freely. "Where have you been?"

Gale 04-03-2004 10:57 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Alinos is silent for a moment. "No where important. You seem to have been going through a lot. I see your old friend has returned."

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Nngh. It's all in how you perceive it." She has a seat again, twisting a lock of her hair in her fingers.

"Death is the least of your worries, as it is destined to happen." Alinos fixes himself a drink.

"I suppose there is some truth in that." She shifts uncomfortably in her seat.

"Thus why you should be weary of Legion. He works for Rand, but he is not sent by him."

Ayn 04-03-2004 11:58 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

She's silent for a few moments, pondering this. "It's not fair, really.. I never get a moment's rest, there's always something wanting to rip out my throat."

Gale 04-04-2004 12:04 AM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"I agree that it isn't fair. However, they act out of fear. You have the potential of a goddess. Rand, the demons, all of them fear your power. How you.....Nevermind." Alinos sighs, as if he wanted to finish but couldn't for whatever reason.

Ayn 04-04-2004 12:13 AM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Hmph. Whatever it is you're hiding I assume I'll find out on my own someday. I get that a lot." She sighs as well.

"I do apologize. I do feel sympathy for you. Which is rare considering you're human. However, I don't have an afterlife to look forward to. Therefore, I intend on prolonging this existance as much as possible."
